With 50 rooms, the home is genuinely personal. Moreland House Care Home was experienced in dementia care. Our team is trained to understand what reassurance and safety really means for people living with memory loss — and to deliver that consistently, without drawing attention to it.
We acknowledge that our most recent CQC inspection identified serious areas for improvement. We are working with the CQC and our management team to address these and welcome families to ask us directly about the current position.

Moreland House Care Home is registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our most recent comprehensive inspection, carried out in June 2022, awarded Good ratings across all five domains - Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. A monitoring review conducted by CQC in July 2023 confirmed no grounds to reassess the rating. We remain committed to maintaining that standard.
